"Los Tres Portillos is my go-to spot for authentic Mexican food. The carne asada is always seasoned perfectly, and the freshly pressed corn tortillas make a big difference. Whether I get the tacos or the burrito, the flavor never disappoints. Great food and a great local business worth supporting!"

"As a Scottish man from Kansas living in Phoenix, Or I have grown up eating authentic food from scotland, so I appreciate the authentic Mexican cuisine here you can taste their culture here it's beautiful. The staff are very nice in my honest opinion I think this restaurant should expand and franchise over taco. So I can take authentic Mexican food off my to eat list good job guys!"

"This was a mediocre experience. I ordered an Asada Burrito (pictured). The overhead menu listed the burrito contains lettuce, onion and cilantro - it was not clear that the burrito also contains rice and beans. It is fair to say, there was as much quantity of complimentary ingredients here than there was Asada... I have been accustomed to ordering extra meat in recent years, because it has been more obvious that restaurants like these are skimming quantity off of the top in order to save money. I think that the menu could be more specific on this dish, and the balance of ingredients unto a better flavor profile could help things along. The burrito was served wet, with a hot red sauce - also not reflected on the menu. In that event, I would have been inclined to specify otherwise - like a verde sauce to my preference. The salsa bar has a variety of salsas, which appear to have been made in house, that was impressive. The chips were below average, semi-stale and yellow-corn forward. The service overall was middling. I was not greeted by the cashier. When I approached, she looked at me and waited for me to speak first, she had a neutral demeanor that was pretty glaring. The food was served quickly, almost too quickly - it left the impression it was not actually made to order. Not so inclined to return, sorry to say."

"Genuinely the best food in the valley imo. Excellent, quick service, generous servings, nothing bad on the menu. Get the quesabirria tacos if you really want to be blown away. thank you LTP team for everything you do "

"Can't beat the prices here for some real authentic Mexican food. There's a salsa bar as well with 6-8 salsa options. Love the fact they do veggie options for vegans. Food took a little while to come out especially for a weekday after lunch rush but it was totally worth the wait. I highly recommend the enchiladas and street tacos."

"Los Tres Potrillos is authentic Mexican food. Beautiful dining area-- very festive. Salsa bar too. My order was two asada tacos and one chicken at $3 a taco. The guacamole was good and generous. Also a chicken ensalada. Very clean and friendly."
